Good experience overall I recently purchased a vehicle through Driversselect. Overall it was a good experience. It started out a little awkward because my wife and I had found the car we wanted online and emailed DS to let them know that we were interested in it and wanted to come see it. It was submitted around 6:00pm that evening but we didn't get a response that night. We knew that we wanted this particular car so we decided to go to DS the next morning when they opened. When we arrived, we were met walking in the door by an associate (who would eventually be our salesman) who was also just arriving for work. He seemed a little unfriendly and agitated (not really greeting us) as if we should not have been walking in without an appointment. However, my wife and I let it fly over and proceeded to let him know that we were interested in a car that we saw online. I believe that after he realized that we were seriously ready to purchase a car he seemed to get nicer as the process moved along. He turned out to be a friendly person and seemed more personable in the end. The point that I really want to make is not to assume that every customer knows the DS policy/procedure for making appointments to view and or show interest in a car. He has kept in contact post sale and we appreciate that. I think DS has some of the best selections in the Dallas area. BTW, as we were waiting for our salesman to go get keys for our test drive, we were greeted and asked if we were being helped by numerous other associates (which made us feel good and welcome). I would purchase from them again. More

I didnt even think I would be able to purchase a new vehicle but he definitely proved me wrong. The car buying process isnt what it used to be many years ago where one has to sit in the dealership for hours and hours on end. I submitted an application Friday morning, My Pelky contacted me about an hour or so later to inquire about my needs and what my current economic situation was like and worked it out from there. He found a lender to work with me by that afternoon and a car that just so happened to be my favorite color so i knew it was meant to be at that moment. I came in the next morning and drove away in a much more reliable car than i previously owned. He was as transparent as one can be which isnt a given usually when purchasing something as huge as a car. I would surely recommend this dealership and Larry to anyone as the environment itself was warm and welcoming. It appeared as though everyone actually enjoyed the environment they were in. More

Best Car buying experience EVER We were shopping for a car for my daughter who had recently been in a wreck where her car was a total loss. Being from a small town in east Texas wher We were shopping for a car for my daughter who had recently been in a wreck where her car was a total loss. Being from a small town in east Texas where deals can still be done with a handshake, I was very skeptical of looking for a car in the big city. My daughter knew exactly what she wanted and we found several at Drivers Select online. every car we looked at had a Free Carfax online. All had great service records and none had been wrecked. I called to make sure the ones we were interested in were still available and to let them know we were coming the next day to look. I talked to Larry Pelky. He was very professional and said all of the cars were still there but one was at their storage lot. When we arrived the next day, Larry had already moved the one from storage to the lot for us. He gave us the keys to the ones we were looking at and said "let me know if you have any questions." or something like that. Then he left us alone and we were able to examine the cars without the pressure of a salesperson breathing down our neck. After we decided on the one we wanted, we went back inside. Larry got us a license plate and told us to take an extended test drive and that he did not need to go with us. That doesn't even happen in small town east Texas. After the test drive we were ready to buy. I was impressed with the "no haggle" policy and the price on the Internet was the final lowest price. There was absolutely no back and forth to the "sales manger". Because I had already spent hours researching these cars, I knew it was a VERY fair price. Larry was also very helpful in getting it financed through Wells Fargo at a lower rate than my daughter's bank was offering her. I am so happy with the service and professionalism of the dealership as a whole and specifically with Larry, that I will be willing to make my next purchase from him without even seeing the car in person. What they advertise online is EXACTLY what is on the lot. We could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely buy from Larry again. More

Unjustified Fear Buying a car is a stressful ordeal that I have been accustomed to for quite some time. Every time my wife mentioned that she wanted a new car it made Buying a car is a stressful ordeal that I have been accustomed to for quite some time. Every time my wife mentioned that she wanted a new car it made me cringe. The thought of going into a dealership and being hounded by seedy salesmen and dealing with the ever drawn out process of financing made me want to vomit. So when she brought it up again 2 days ago I felt the knots in my stomach start to tighten. I said, lets go ahead and browse on the internet first before we do anything. We went through several websites but she was unable to find the exact car that she wanted so we kept looking. Finally, we came across the Driversselect website and there it was, a 2015 Ford Explorer Limited, fully loaded, her heart melted and I knew that was the one. That's when the dread sank in, now we have to go in and deal with the horrors of buying a car. But wait, my wife saw that we were able to apply online, a silver lining to this dark cloud was starting to emerge. She plugged in all our info and then we waited. After about 15 minutes we received a call from a gentleman named Larry Pelky, he spoke very well and seemed genuine right out the gate. Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after `all. He ran our numbers and was able to get us financed for my wife's dream car. He invited us to the dealership and met us with a friendly smile and led us to our new car. Larry gave us his undivided attention was very excited to show us all the features and how to operate them. He went over our paperwork and even let us drive it while we waited to be finalized. After we got back to the dealership Larry took us to our booth so that we could seal the deal, he even gave us delicious Cokes to quench our thirst. Papers began to fly as signature were running across the pages. Then just like, we were the new owners of this beautiful machine, I sat back in awe with the incredible events that transpired. Larry Pelky changed my opinion on how cars are bought. I will forever send my friends and family to him to experience this wonderful process. The best dealership by far! It was the little things like offering me a drink all the way up to the price! I actually felt I got more than good deal! There knowledge of vehicles was outstanding! I am definitely a Driver select customer for life!!! When I left I knew exactly how every feature worked in my new car wasn't stuck reading some manual trying to figure out how things worked!!!
