Bait & Switch! Backs out of written agreements. No ethics. BAIT & SWITCH! I had the worst buying experience of my life here. I wanted a particular truck and found it online at Planet Ford in Spring. I talk BAIT & SWITCH! I had the worst buying experience of my life here. I wanted a particular truck and found it online at Planet Ford in Spring. I talked to 2 salespersons over the phone about it since I lived so far away. We came to a written agreement in emails, so I got the final agreed upon price in writing. We both said it was "a deal" over the phone and through email, and that I would travel there the very next morning on my day off. Well, I excitedly drove over 3hrs to Spring, TX in order to pick up my new truck that I had my heart set on. When I got there to sign the papers, that's when it all went down hill. They said "they made a mistake" and couldn't honor the deal they gave me. It was a $4k difference on a $52k truck! It wasn't even a "hard to believe" deal that they would have shut down the dealership over. "The salesperson should not have given you that price", they said. Needless to say, I was fuming made and wanted them to own up to their mistake. I wasted over 6HRS round trip driving on my DAY OFF only to get a bait and switch scam thrown at me. I let them know what a horrible experience I had. I let them know that I had driven 3hrs to get there. I'm sure that's why they did what they did. They thought they had me hooked since I lived so far away. Sleazy! I know dealerships are not always the best to deal with. I know they all have their tactics that sometimes get close to crossing the line. But, out of 5 dealerships I've purchased from, this place is by far the worst experience I've ever had and certainly crossed the line on ethical behavior. They started by telling me all about their "great reputation" and wanting to be #1 in customer satisfaction on this dealer ratings website, but when it came to discuss the agreed upon price and holding up their end of a written agreement (bait and switch), their reputation here or anywhere no longer mattered to them. I told them I would be writing this negative review. They didn't care. Only the money mattered to them. More

I had ford.com search the nation for this truck & I had to have a 5.0 - & they found my old friend again. my original sales guy - William ballard - was still there. all it took were a couple of emails and texts & sat morn I was in the dealership. William had the truck pulled up and ready to go & we were done and out of the dealership in a couple of hours. yes, I said a couple. and that included ordering some accessories too. gotta have the spray on bed liner. anyway, I know it's just business, but sometimes business is better when you're doing it with a friend. someone you trust. and that has been my experience at the planet. More

No hassle, low stress I was drawn to Planet Ford based on quoted internet prices - even though I live across town from the dealership. I contacted Lauren Forgie via email I was drawn to Planet Ford based on quoted internet prices - even though I live across town from the dealership. I contacted Lauren Forgie via email to inquire about certain vehicles I was interested in. She was very knowledgeable of the dealership's inventory and the various optional features for the the kind of truck I was looking for. She applied absolutely no pressure as I was making my decisions and was very responsive via email to all of my questions. I made my decision after a couple of days, about 20 emails, and a couple of short phone calls. Andrew Risner made sure I knew about different aftermarket options that were available for the trck and different package offers that were available. When I arrived, Jacoby Garmon had the truck detailed and ready to test drive and the paperwork was already in process and ready for signature. Jacoby walked me through all of the features of the truck and talked me through all of the paperwork. He also made sure my wife and I were comfortable during the short visit. This was a very busy week for me and I still think its amazing that I was somehow able to locate and buy a truck in such a short period of time with so little stress and hassle on my part. Planet Ford made the truck buying experience enjoyable. More
