Once they got approval for my deal, they claimed there was another buyer for the car and told me I’d have to put down nearly double the amount if I wanted it—even though we had already agreed on the terms before I authorized the credit check. You should know that if they show you numbers here, IT MEANS NOTHING; they’ll easily change them after running your credit. Or worse: if there’s another buyer—who, by the way, arrived after I was already in the process of finalizing the purchase—they’ll try to sell the car to both of us at the same time and start a bidding war to see who pays more. Listen, I’m handing this case over to my lawyers; I’m sure they’ll point out all the violations you committed regarding this deal, and we’ll see you in court. More
