We made an offer on a 2022 Kia Sorrento plug-in hybrid, only to find at the last minute that there were more than $2100 in "Accessory" fees, including an undercarriage coating we had not asked for and more only to find at the last minute that there were more than $2100 in "Accessory" fees, including an undercarriage coating we had not asked for and more than $500 in a recovery tracker. (I can understand why a dealer would want to install a recovery tracker when they're financing the car, so they will always be able to locate and repossess a car when someone has not paid their bill. But for customers who are paying cash for the car, it's completely irrelevant.) When we complained about these fees we were told that they are totally standard protections, in the best interest of the customer, etc. Very disappointing. They did apologize at least for not having mentioned anything about the extra fees until it was time to pay for the car. Another customer wound up buying it. More

Absolutely the most frustrating and time consuming transaction I have ever had at a dealership.
