big shout out to Kevin Ward and the whole team at Gettel Toyota Lakewood on 64th .... I've taken my 2012 Tacoma there for service since moving to Florida. They are competitive priced and total professional in service. In April I decided time for a new Toyota and Kevin Ward my sales agent guided me thru the purchase and delivery. It seems the Toyota Florida Distributor in Jacksonville was having delivery problems on some models. Kevin provided superb service and kept me advised in every detail from the time it was placed on truck in Jacksonville for delivery until arrival at the dealership in Bradenton. The delivery of my new 2022 Tacoma was painless. The courtesy and friendly service provided was greatly appreciated. A couple clicks a few signatures and within an hour I had the keys the new 2022 Tacoma TRD Sport. Kevin walked me thru every switch in the truck and the settings of each. Freddy Myers is the best. Unfortunately, he is the only one that’s been around for >10 years. Next best is Mike Brown. No nester person you can trust. Does a great job of offering the necessities; but never pushes too hard for the extra commission. However, the ease and availability to get in for maintenance has gone down hill. Not sure if more technicians are needed, or not enough bays. I have bought many cars at this dealership. I used to drive up and people knew my name and would always squeeze me in. That type of familiarity has been lost at the drive in. All in all, high ratings for the dealership. Mike Brown rocks! More
