Hendrick Honda Review. Prior to buying my 2014 Honda CRV I went to a few dealers in Broward County and did a great deal of homework as well. This extremely stressful situation was amplified by my being a wo I went to a few dealers in Broward County and did a great deal of homework as well. This extremely stressful situation was amplified by my being a women and advocating for myself. As usual all dealers were trying to get the best price for the car as well as my trade-in. Some were playing the selling game with a dash of charm and calm others were down right aggressive. I have some regret ending this journey with Hendrick Honda. I first encountered Kashif Chughtai who was new to the job. He was kind but was as new as yeasterday to the business. He was dictated by Mansur Khawaja. I asked to work with Mr. Khawaja. I now became the client sitting back while he was taught the job by Mr. Chughtai (down to basic paper work). If they worked well with me I would have been happy in this position but as it turned out Mr. Chughtai had absolutely no say or pull so any relationship was useless and all negotiations fell on deaf ears awaiting Mr. Khawaja's decisions. To begin with I brought in the number on the exact car I was looking at. It was a 2014. I went for a test drive and liked the car. I was decideing about the EX VS. LX but I liked the options on the EX and proceeded to negotiate for the car I now drove. I did not fully realize any negotiation with Mr. Chughtai was useless as Mr. Khawaja who was pulling all the strings. Mr. Chughtai came back to offer their price. I considered the price despite it being greater than I would have preferred but said I was interested. The bait and switch now began. After showing my interest Mr. Chughtai now told me (clearly a tactic from Mr. Khawaja) that he was in error and this price was for a 2013, never even on the table for discussion. I reacted. I made it clear I was only interested in the 2014 car I drove and we were discussing. They were treating me like a fool in their effort to get me to pay their price. More than I wanted to pay and not comparable to other dealers. Mr. Chughtai can only say he was sorry but sat powerless. Mr. Khawaja refused to intervene despite this being his decision and my request to work with him. He stayed in the background not willing to do any thing to rectify this situation. My first regret was not leaving. Nor did I know what was to happen next. CHUNCEY REYNOLDS: Another sales man listening decided he wanted to take over. He was not involved over the few hour and was not asked for assistance by Mr. Khawaja. I feel it is an insult to his collegues as he did not believing in their ability work to complete the transaction. His arrogance and anger took center stage. As a women the last thing I want was some aggressive man to now confront me. He was a bully and at this time I was tired and vulnerable. He was so intent on being confrontational he did not even identify himself. He took my used car keys and came back and offered me $1,250, a clear insult. It was clear he was now going to use my car to kick me around. My mistake is the I should have left at that moment and I will regret allowing these men to have my business especially Mr. Reynolds. I wish I went back to the dealer who offered me $2,500 but at the time I though this amount was minimal. The blue book listed it for $3,600. Mr. Reynolds continued to say he was highly stressed out by working with me and I wondered why he jumped in uninvited to begin with. Of course I did not accept the ridiculous offer. Now the price of the car was high and cost of the trade-in low. I do not why I continued to negotiate with Mr. Reynolds and now both dealers were even afraid to approach Mr. Reynolds and allowed him to bully me. Mr. Reynolds even asked me if I wanted to toss a coin and if I lose I will accept the $1,200. Easy for him to gamble with my money. It was clear to me that if he was willing to toss a coin he was willing to offer the mere $1,650. Big deal. I was off guard and tired and hade some information from the previously dealer incorrect realizing they were over the $2,255.00 not under. My fatal mistake. Finally Mr. Reynolds quoted his ex-wife and told me she told him "you get more bees with honey"...but he did not use this approach with me, not in the least. Stay clear of this man as I regret allowing any body, man against women to treat me in such appalling fashion. More

My fifth Honda purchase at this dealership in last 30 years. Although they did not participate in the used car program at Costco, when I had told the initial contact person that I had purchased a new Ac years. Although they did not participate in the used car program at Costco, when I had told the initial contact person that I had purchased a new Accord through Costco, she immediately offed to honor my Costco card. So I went up a bit on my price and found the perfect car on line that night. Next day I test drove it with Mansur Khawaja, a man of few words, While we were driving he talked quietly to inform me of all new technologies, safety features and the improvements Honda has implemented since I had bought the last Accord. I was very impressed of his knowledge and gentleness. Mansur did not push to "just to sell me a car", when I informed him that I will not be able to purchase the car until Saturday, he did not patronize me. I really appreciated that. So I bought the car and I was not an easy sale.I had done lots of research; I had a price In mind. Cezar was tough but he was fair and the price was really great Next I worked with Ned, he was an excellent problem solver and kind. Finally, Mansur Khawaja walked me to new car and programmed the IPhone into Bluetooth. He was informative and gentle, no high pressure....Really enjoyed buying a car from him.... Sincerely, Jane Oh Handley More

During this most recent transaction under the Hendrick banner , however, I was really struck by how many more members of the team engaged with me than when you were Pompano Honda. As a retired CEO of a large hospital in New York, I think I am a good judge of caring and motivated employees and what elements make up good service. The knowledge base and people skills were in evidence throughout by the caring individuals cited above. John Resnick was my first contact( via email) and, he met me as agreed very cordially along with Mansur Khawaja. An immediate rapport was established and I felt comfortable and a sincerity that these folks would work with me to a mutually beneficial end. I felt no to low pressure and only greater confidence gained from the maturity and experience level I sensed in both gentlemen, underscore gentlemen! Understanding the division of labor, Mansur and John worked together and separately to craft the best deal and the best car. They were especially patient and understanding as they worked with me while I was getting repeated counseling from an absent( and tough) negotiating partner( my wife ) who happened to be in New York. She was making sure I did not misstep.I did not. Besides getting a beautiful 2013 totally tricked out Civic, she was pleased that I had negotiated a little and was treated very fairly which is another noteworthy positive and takeaway, oftentimes not found in dealerships. The exact car was quickly sourced; it was ready as scheduled; there were no surprises. Your credit/closer, Ned, was equally professional, competent and cordial so ,on whole, I give high marks to your associates who should all be reinforced because they are all a credit to your company. Keep up the great work ethic and service orientation. And, of course, thank you all again. John Davanzo More
