The service and communication throughout this experience were very hit or miss. I appreciated being able to text the mechanic directly, but on multiple occasions I had to wait an entire day just to be told were very hit or miss. I appreciated being able to text the mechanic directly, but on multiple occasions I had to wait an entire day just to be told the issue couldn’t be fixed yet and that parts needed to be ordered. There was also no rental car available, and the only reason I found that out was because I followed up multiple times myself. I had to reach out more than three times just to get basic updates. As soon as I mentioned my name or car, I was often placed on hold—sometimes for a long time—only to be picked up again by the same person. It felt like being passed around without any real progress, like a game of hot potato. At the very least, I would expect someone, especially a mechanic, to return a call after weeks of waiting. The lack of follow-up made the entire experience feel disorganized and frustrating. The customer service agents were always friendly, but it didn’t seem like they were onsite—communication felt routed through a third-party service, which led to a disconnect between teams. Over the past month, I visited four times and never once received a proactive call. The only notification I received was a text on the final visit letting me know the car was ready for pickup. Eventually, the car was fixed and covered under warranty, and I do appreciate the mechanic taking the time to explain everything in the end. However, the overall process was frustrating. I spent over two weeks trying to get updates, called more than six times, and never received a callback. What was most frustrating is that I later found out the part had arrived within a few days—but no one notified me. It wasn’t until I repeatedly followed up and was transferred multiple times that the team realized my car could have been brought in much earlier, nearly a week and a half sooner. Overall, while the final outcome was resolved, the lack of communication and coordination made this a much more painful experience than it needed to be. More

I went in because tire inflation lights were erratic on my new Mazda in horrific rain conditions. The first day, Culver City Mazda’s service said there was a big nail, overinflated all the tires to compensate, claimed a $300 tire had to be ordered for next day and told me it was safe to drive freeways that rainy day, which l chose not to do. Day two, with two tire underinflation warning lights firing, l asked to see the holes. Service Department changed its story, saying that the small nail had not penetrated the first tire and that the second tire’s major deflation, indicated by the warning system, was okay. After l asked about what kind of patch would be done, based on the owner’s manual recommendations, the service manager told me l no longer needed to purchase two replacement tires, and l was sent on my way no charge. Draw your own conclusions, especially fellow females, senior citizens and/or disabled customers.. More

I was told to come in ASAP for service, upon arrival, the valet said they would not take me and said I was too late even though the man over the phone said to come. I ended up talking with one of the managers in service who was super kind and said, "we never turn away any one." which I am very grateful he ensured I knew that. He was amazing, took my case (both my car keys did not work), and I received my keys (fixed) the next day. Additionally, the manager kept me in the loop, and called me in advance before doing further services that would cost me extra. I appreciate his mindfulness. More
