Dan was great!! Very personable, very easy to work with and friendly. Wasn't entirely knowledgeable about the car, but it's a Jeep (and an unusual one at that) and you're a Ford dealer, so I don't hold it and friendly. Wasn't entirely knowledgeable about the car, but it's a Jeep (and an unusual one at that) and you're a Ford dealer, so I don't hold it against you! The car is great so far! Fixed everything like I asked and put a full tank of gas in it. Quality service! Very happy!!! Thank you!!! More

Buying a used car was an absolute nightmare Where do I even start? I signed the purchase agreement for a used car more than two weeks ago and here's a short list of various ways they managed to Where do I even start? I signed the purchase agreement for a used car more than two weeks ago and here's a short list of various ways they managed to screw up the paperwork: -Put the wrong name on the purchase agreement -Forgot to send the funds request form to my bank, and didn't realize until I called my bank a week later -Sent a second funds request form for a different car along with the correct one after they realized they'd forgotten -Forgot that I made a down payment at the dealership and asked the full price from my bank -Failed to obtain temp plates/registration for the vehicle -Didn't realize they didn't have the title for the car until the day they finally tried to deliver it On top of that, when they finally delivered the vehicle a week later than promised, I saw that it somehow had 1,500 more miles on it than when I purchased it, not including the delivery distance. And at every step of the way, it was incredibly difficult just to contact anybody from the dealership; they almost never responded to any messages or voicemails, and I often had to call repeatedly at different times before anyone picked up. There was also a clear lack of communication between the personnel, as each new representative I talked to seemed to be under the completely wrong impression of what had happened - for example, at one point someone told me I "owed some money" when not only had my bank sent the funds, they owed me for the down payment they forgot about; at another point someone told me that it was my bank's fault for forgetting to send the funds, when it was the dealership that forgot to request it; and the first time I talked to the manager a week after purchase, he sounded angry with me for not being patient until I told him everything that had happened. Also, for what it's worth, I was told later that I was a low-priority customer since I financed through my bank and not the dealership, as an excuse for why they didn't catch the mistakes in the paperwork. I made it very clear that I absolutely needed the car last week, and they promised repeatedly they would deliver it to me by then (since they wouldn't let me drive it off the lot). All of their failures made my life an absolute nightmare for several days. It's at the point where, now that I finally have it, I realize that it needs some major servicing done, and I would rather pay a thousand dollars to never have to talk to any of them again than try to get the dealership to cover the cost of repairs. A Saturday call I have dealt with the service department here before with zero issues. So we tried sales. Sales were hassle-free, They didn't nag you, follow you arou I have dealt with the service department here before with zero issues. So we tried sales. Sales were hassle-free, They didn't nag you, follow you around or call you when you were late. This location is very easy going and a great atmosphere. Initially, I spoke to Mark late Saturday. I set up a time to come by on Monday, I was late. He was fine with seeing me still. I looked at a vehicle with Bob. I set up an appointment to come back with my nephew to see the car because it was for him. We were late, Bob had another customer scheduled, so Dan showed us the vehicle again. We purchased the vehicle and made a date to pick it up. I was a day late picking it up, Mark, Bob & Dan was great! The Finance guy was great! He explained everything in a way we understood but didn't feel like he was talking down to us. Dan wasN'T a typical ..... salesman. LOL He is really cool to work with. Thank you, Mark, Bob & Dan for respecting my work schedule and time. We really appreciate all you did for us. I apologize for being late to every appointment & again thank you ALL at Colonial Ford for making buying a car easy! More
