Our dealership offers a select number of used vehicles that are sold in AS-IS condition. They are clearly marked on the vehicle's window sticker as AS-IS condition and customers sign off that the vehicle is sold AS-IS when purchasing the vehicle. These vehicles are not put through our rigorous inspection process but sold at greatly reduced prices before being offered to wholesalers and auctions. These are older and higher mileage models that are sold for under $10,000. The vehicle you purchased was one of those vehicles and we were very clear that the vehicle had not been inspected. The check engine light as well as some deterioration of the molding was present during your test drive and we even reduced the price further on the vehicle to accommodate this. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, you have every opportunity to inspect the vehicle as well as have anyone of your choosing look at the vehicle. The Lemon Law in the state of Florida is for new vehicles only and never applies to used cars.
