They didn't expect me to complain about their mistreatment, but when I did I discovered just how they handle complaints -- they give your phone number to several salespeople who call at all hours to offer you "a special deal, direct from the president." As if I would ever buy anything from them ever again in this lifetime! After several attempts at resolution, I dropped the L-word (lawyer), after which some of my money was returned. I was also given a 5-year contract for free oil changes, tire rotations, and state inspections, which Robbie denied on my first attempt. I plan to re-think this issue at some time in the future, maybe the day after never? But I fear that may be too soon. In the meantime, if I was abducted and dragged to Vision Hyundai -- kicking, screaming, and against my will -- and found I had dropped a penny on the showroom floor in the process, I would trip over my own feet to put it in my pocket before they had a chance to put it in theirs. I have bought several cars here and am generally satisfied. My only concern was the high pressure, two against one, sales pitch for purchasing a service contract that started at a price of over $1K satisfied. I gave in with that last sum. After a year I have less than 3K miles on the car, have spent over $600 on the extended warranty and just saved about $40 on a "free" oil change and NYS inspection.
