We are pleased; however, that our Service Management handled your situation properly, and responded immediately to your concern. They quickly came over to tow your vehicle back to our shop, and dropped off a free rental for you, at the same time. When your vehicle came back, our techs determined the new lines they had installed as part of your valve cover repair were faulty, so we replaced them again, and tested everything to make sure that there were no leaks, and we detailed your engine bay just to make sure there was no diesel odor present. We will always stand behind our work, and if things ever go wrong, we will work to make it right. Regarding the credit card transaction fee - when the processing companies increased their fees last year, we could no longer absorb their costs, and so made the difficult decision to pass the fee on to the consumer- this has been in place since last November. When the major credit card companies increased their processing charges to 3%, it no longer was an affordable cost of doing business for us, so we made the decision pass on this fee since last November.
