Mistakes happen, the problem was how he handled it when he did not take ownership and blatantly blamed another employee. VERY poor leadership example and a negative experience for us as the customer. Monday (1/23) I took my car to Rohrman Toyota because the battery was dying occasionally. I was told the same day, that the battery tested perfectly and that they believe it was a terminal end that needed re battery was dying occasionally. I was told the same day, that the battery tested perfectly and that they believe it was a terminal end that needed replaced. They also informed me that my front and rear breaks needed replaced, that I need break fluid, and there was a rodent nest near the cabin filter that needed removed. I told them I would let them do the terminal end but that I'd take it elsewhere to get the rest done (because I know dealer's often have unnecessary upcharges). I got a call a few hours later that said they were done and I could come get my car. I had my husband leave work and he drove me there on my lunch break only for them to tell me that it wasn't done and they would get the part in the next day (Tuesday 1/24). They put me in a loaner vehicle and sent me on my way. On Tuesday, they called to tell me that they tested my battery again and it miraculously tested poorly (though the day before was perfect). I also just replaced my battery exactly one year ago so I thought this was fishy. Though I didn't want to, my husband told me to tell them to go ahead and fix everything they listed while they had the vehicle. I told them to go ahead and rotate my tires and do an oil change since I was due in the next 400 miles. I got a voicemail from them on Wednesday around 1:30 telling me that due to the snow it was pretty quiet at the dealership so they were all leaving early. My opinion is that they should have already had my vehicle finished after having it for 2 days. If it wasn't finished, I wouldn't send home my staff until the work was done. It couldn't have been that slow of a day or my vehicle would have been done. I received a call this morning (Thursday 1/26) to inform me my car was ready to pick up. My husband went to get it and it was $2,000!!! Not only is this price ridiculous for all I went through and them having my car for 3 1/2 days, but then they added on a 3.5% credit card fee because my husband paid with his credit card. When he complained, they said that they told me there would be a charge for using a credit card and I approved it. This didn't happen, they never said a word about a credit card. BE WARE. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN. More
