During this experience, we learned that the dealers operate independentl I enjoyed dealing w/Meghan Ahrens.. she went out of her way to make us happy. During this experience, we learned that the dealers operate independently of Lexus the company (which we weren’t aware of) . prior to this lease we just signed in Englewood, we got a pre-owned lease in Manhattan. Our experience in Manhattan was so bad that we decided to travel to New Jersey to get our new car. Manhattan leased us a pre-owned vehicle 3 yrs ago,, and their service dept told us to buy brand new tires in less than one year of leasing (englewood dealers said that was unusual)..and Manhattan didn't advise us of ‘wear and tear’ coverage, and now we have to wait and see what Lexus will tell us with our previous lease. Also, we werent advised of Autovin a company that evaluates the Lexus leases to advise of any potential. Our car was in excellent shape as we rarely drive it living in the city and park it in a paid garage, but hoping that they don’t charge us arbitrarily (or this this will definitely be the final Lexus we lease/own). But Meghan was extremely straight forward and works hard to take care of her clients and build trust which is hard to find in the car business.
