department for screwing up on my explorer AGAIN! I had an appointment scheduled 2 weeks ago for a warranty repair on a converter. Dropped the car off
department for screwing up on my explorer AGAIN! I had an appointment scheduled 2 weeks ago for a warranty repair on a converter. Dropped the car off at 8am this morning at the dealership and I was supposed to get a call when it was completed. No call ever came,…all day long! I decided to show up at 4 and my phone rang. It was the service department. I didn’t answer because I just pulled up in the parking lot. I walk in and got ignored for the first couple of minutes. Then the guy who books the appointments finally tells me, “on yours, the tech dropped the ball and wasn’t able to get to it today.” I about lost it y’all, because this same service department did the same thing a few weeks ago when I was buying the vehicle. It needed a sensor fixed and sat here all day without being touched after an appointment was made just like it did today. By chance, someone in charge, by the last name of Burch, happened to come by and heard the issue and is making the tech stay late to make the repair while I sit here for two hours waiting.
DO NOT…I repeat…DO NOT take your vehicle to this joke show for service.

To add to this clown show, I’ve been having intermittent electrical issues since I got my vehicle back from Mike Burch Ford. It finally shut down on me today on the way to the dealership to get it checked out. So, how about the battery cover and retaining plastic screws that hold the trim around the battery we’re just sitting under the hood unsecured. The positive battery cable was also left loose, which was what was causing the electrical issues. Wish I could post videos and pics of the electrical issues, loose parts and the vehicle shutting off, but I assure you, I have it all. I’ll be sending it to Ford..
Couldn’t ask for a better salesman.
He will definitely have my business going forward.
