I did my "due diligence" by researching car tests and reviews on various websites, and checking out dealerships on DealerRater and similar sites. I concluded that Honda vehicles and the Coast Honda dealership are the best way to go. However, I wasn't prepared to have my high expectations exceeded and blown out of the water by a truly exceptional professional. Forget the stereotypes about car salesmen. Lose your fears about being pushed, misled or disappointed in any way. MIKE CAMPBELL treated me like a trusted friend or relative who's a car expert and a financial whiz! I walked into Coast Honda with a savvy consumer's skepticism, and I drove out with a great deal on a top-rated car -- thanks to Mike. In his friendly and helpful manner, he pointed out all the alternatives available in vehicles and prices (showing me a lot of useful details I didn't know), answered all my questions, and made the whole process actually enjoyable. (I never thought I'd say that about a car salesman!) Other people at the dealership use Mike as a resource... He seems to be their "go-to" guy for assistance. I highly recommend Mike Campbell. He was very upfront and honest and truly gave me the best deal on the car I wanted. Many car dealers try to make as much money out of the deal as possible, often shortchanging the customer, but that was never Mike's objective. He wants the customer to return!
