Bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee from dealership that only had 12 miles on it then engine light came on that same day and it felt like it was going to fall apart. We had an excellent experience when we purchased our 2026 Ram 1500 and our 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee the next day. Our salesman, Stephen Kirkland was knowledgeable and caring and he did not try to force us in Ram 1500 and our 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee the next day. Overall the experience was very poor for such a beautiful and reputable dealership. However, the time taken out of our lives having to bring the Hyundai back repeatedly not fixing a severe vibration through and reputable dealership. However, the time taken out of our lives having to bring the Hyundai back repeatedly not fixing a severe vibration through the service department, myself sitting at the dealership last Friday afternoon as well as all day Saturday, and overall not standing behind the company mission statement, “trustworthy and affordable,” expectations were not met. Micheal Jenkins communicated that the Hyundai was not certified and checked in correctly. We inquired about other used options on your lot in Clanton being led towards new by Micheal. Andre told me everything I wanted to hear from the beginning with the car we wanted in the Hyundai and again on the Jeep, stating that we were receiving a deal off the total for the inconvenience, when in reality we paid full price, having the $1000 I’d already paid through Wells Fargo along with the trade in of the Ford Fusion reapplied to the overall total, and despite having lower payments at 85 months now will have paid more interest in the end @7%. I understand that I am accountable for being sold on all of this, that in regards to the sales they operated in what was in the best interest of the dealership, however my opinion of this experience is unchanged that we were taken advantage of, and the only factor that truly stood out is how honest/empathetic Dr. Josh Gray was in communicating. I do believe the Grand Cherokee is a reliable vehicle which will provide a positive impact on our life, in consideration it’s brand new with no previous drivers. Sincerely, Daniel Beckworth More
