We put a deposit down on a truck on Monday 12/22 only to be told afterward that the truck would not be available for almost three weeks. Prior to taking our money the salesman never mentioned that the truck be told afterward that the truck would not be available for almost three weeks. We immediately asked to be returned our deposit and it has been 5 days. No response and every time we call we just get the run around and sent to voicemail. We still do not have our deposit back. I brought my 2016 Chevy Equinox to Eagle Chevrolet under an active GM case for a diagnostic due to known internal engine issues. I followed GM’s process and worked with Stephen McHone, the Service Manager, an active GM case for a diagnostic due to known internal engine issues. I followed GM’s process and worked with Stephen McHone, the Service Manager, who verbally assured me that if I leased a vehicle through Eagle, the service fees would be waived. Stephen recommended spark plug replacement, solenoid work, and cleaning — and said it might fix the issue. Based on that, I reluctantly agreed, trusting that this was part of the GM diagnostic process and that the charges would be waived if I moved forward with a lease. The repairs didn’t fix the problem. I was later billed $1,293.02, with no prior written estimate, and only offered a 10% discount when I pushed back. On top of that, Eagle threatened $75/day storage fees retroactive to June 30 unless I paid the full amount — which I ultimately did, just to get my car released. Meanwhile, I tried to lease a vehicle through Eagle, but the sales team failed completely. They were unprofessional, dismissive, and made the deal confusing by ignoring key rebates I qualified for. I gave them everything they needed — they just didn’t follow through. I ended up leasing the vehicle elsewhere, where I was treated with transparency and respect. Eagle Chevrolet made this process unnecessarily stressful and unfair. If you go here, get everything in writing and be cautious of verbal promises. I would never return. — Karen Romano More
