We have been looking for a certain type of SUV and they made it happen. They were hassle-free and did not try any funny games. Misleading & Aggressive StaffI worked with online sales Misleading & Aggressive Staff I worked with online sales to receive a price for a 2021 Tucson. In order to discuss further she said I had to go into Misleading & Aggressive Staff I worked with online sales to receive a price for a 2021 Tucson. In order to discuss further she said I had to go into the dealership. I went to the dealer that evening with my father. The salesman assured me they had my information from the online sales department however; he went on to provide a price that was significantly higher than the online quote. The conversation went in circles and the general manager came over. I was appalled that they would not honor negotiating in the store as I was told and increased the price of the car. I told the general manager what a waste of time this was and his team was completely unprofessional. My father said it was BS. After this the general manager was upset that he had given my dad his business card at the start of this conversation and demanded it back. He proceeded to get into my father’s personal space and put his hands on him as we were walking out. Under no circumstances should an employee ever place their hands on a customer. Later the evening I emailed the online sales person requesting to speak with someone about the incident. I never heard back from her. I had to contact corporate to get a response and any acknowledgment of the general managers aggressive behavior. The outcome of those conversations with corporate and the dealership owner fell short. I never thought I’d have to review a dealership because I didn’t feel safe. To my knowledge that general manager is still employed. It’s important to note there was another reviewer who had a very similar experience in August of 2020 and noted that the same GM tried to physically intimidate him. That was a detail no one wanted to accept either. More

Worst experience ever!!! Beware!!! Very rude and ill-mannered manager!!! I was searching for Tucson online as soon as I submitted my request form I got call from Elgin Hyundai yesterday. The rep Mic ill-mannered manager!!! I was searching for Tucson online as soon as I submitted my request form I got call from Elgin Hyundai yesterday. The rep Michelle told me they have 4 Tucson 2021 in stock in different colors. I told her to email me the details but she sent me a general email. So today I drove there one hour after work to be told they dont have any in stock. Only 2022 in blue was in stock. When we told the manager (he didnt tell me his name, he is of Indian/Pakistani descent) this was a clear case of Bait and switch, he started yelling at us, called me aunty (although I am half his age). A very ill-mannered man who was yelling at us inside his showroom. Refused to believe that his sales rep told me they had 4 in stock. Accused me of mistaking his dealership for some other. Was constantly talking over me and wouldn't let me finish. I am a woman and he behaved so disrespectfully with me. I felt so bad taking my husband all the way to this horrible place! More

Stay away from this place. They are crooks. My wife took her car to them when the rearview camera stopped operating. Without doing any research on her warranty, they told her it was not covered. I called the warranty company and they informed me since we had the better warranty, the Platinum it is covered. The warranty company also informed me that there was never an inquiry from the dealership about whether or not this part is covered. Since my wife had to pay out of pocket, we have to jump through all this red tape to get reimbursed for this. A quick review of her warranty would have shown that this part is covered. They are so surly, condescending and lazy. We are taking our business away from this corrupt dealership. I would have rated ZERO stars but that was not an option. More

George Campbell was a pleasure to work with when I purchased my 2021 Palisade. He is friendly and personable and very laid back. The whole process was smooth and I didn’t feel pressured or rushed. Agree with all of the one star reviews. Buyer beware. A Agree with all of the one star reviews. Buyer beware. A used car listed at $21,903.00 quickly became a car that I was to pay over $28,000.00. A l Agree with all of the one star reviews. Buyer beware. A used car listed at $21,903.00 quickly became a car that I was to pay over $28,000.00. A lot of very bogus fees I have never seen during any car purchase were added, including the Elgin Protect Fee (door edge guard, wheel edge guards, wheel locks, mud flaps, all season floor mats, accent striping, nitrogen fill). Guess what? There was no accent striping on this used vehicle, the car mats were the used, original carpet Hyundai mats (not all season floor mats) that the first buyer had bought, mud flaps come standard on this Hyundai model. I was told under no circumstances would this Elgin Protect Fee be taken off the quote. Also the price I was looking for was written down and I had to initial it. Never ever have I had to do this at any other dealership during the negotiation process of initialing on a document. I have been buying new and used cars for over 40 years. This was the worst car dealership tactics I have seen in my many long years on this earth. I drove 45 miles from the city for this scam artist dealership. What a horrible waste of my time. They will lure you in with their very nice Internet employees and then the shadiness begins. Do your homework and find a good dealership, they are out there. Verify all of the extra costs by comparing with multiple trustworthy dealerships. Ask the salesman and finance person to step away, so you can go over what the costs are. Look for these hidden bogus fees. Do not feel pressure to sign. Also do not buy maintenance and protection plans or any other plans., i.e.. ELGIN PROTECT FEE. This is all ways for dealerships to screw you. More

I went to a couple of Hyundai dealerships and none had the Santa Fe Calligraphy, so I called Elgin Hyundai, who said there was one in stock, when I arrived, the model wasn't there, but Tony J, asked about the Santa Fe Calligraphy, so I called Elgin Hyundai, who said there was one in stock, when I arrived, the model wasn't there, but Tony J, asked about what color I wanted and if I wanted to test drive one when any Calligraphy arrives, Tony was GREAT! As soon as one arrived, he called me, I drove it, and I loved it, but still it was not my color, Tony told me that the color I wanted was coming in and he would call me when it arrive. A few days later, the car with the all my options and color arrived. Tony called me and told me the car is being back off the truck as we spoke! That is AMAZING customer service! I went by the dealership that evening and I bought it that night! Plus I was looking to buy "weather tech" floor mats, but Tony said we provide them for you! Again, surprise, and talk about great news... we had a snow storm the next day!!! More

One of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had. I was blatantly lied to via email about the the price of the vehicle, and when I drove to the dealership, from 1.5 hours away, they would not meet the was blatantly lied to via email about the the price of the vehicle, and when I drove to the dealership, from 1.5 hours away, they would not meet the price, even though they said in an email they would beat it. Then, they tried to bully me in to accepting their higher price. As I was leaving, their GM aggressively confronted me and tried to physically intimidate me. Steer clear of this dealership if you don’t want to waste your time or be lied to. More
