As Personal Representative of my brother-in-law's Estate, I was responsible for a 1995 Porsche 911 that had been at another repair shop for more than three years. The engine and transmission had been removed I was responsible for a 1995 Porsche 911 that had been at another repair shop for more than three years. The engine and transmission had been removed, numerous other components were disassembled, and the repairs remained unfinished. We contacted Porsche Minneapolis about possibly taking over the repairs. Although they never performed repairs on the car, Michael Lamm, Mike DeJong, and Porsche technician Jeremy LaVenture went out of their way to meet us at the other shop and inspect it. The other repair shop repeatedly asked the Estate to sign a Release of Liability. Because of his concerns about the repairs and the condition of the car, Michael advised us not to sign the release. His advice was particularly valuable to me as Personal Representative, and we followed it. Ultimately, the other shop found a buyer for the Porsche, and we were able to sell it as is, in its disassembled condition, without proceeding with the repairs. Michael's advice helped us navigate a difficult situation and reach a satisfactory resolution. Throughout this process, Michael, Mike, and Jeremy generously shared their time and expertise, even though we ultimately did not have the Porsche repaired at their dealership. Porsche Minneapolis also graciously declined our offer to compensate them for their efforts. Our family previously purchased two vehicles from another Carousel dealership, and we were very satisfied with both experiences. The exceptional assistance we received from Porsche Minneapolis further strengthened our confidence in Carousel Motor Group. I am extremely grateful to all three gentlemen for their integrity, professionalism, and willingness to help. I highly recommend Porsche Minneapolis. More
