So many things went wrong. First, we came in letting them know we already had financing and we would not be going through them. They told us that they needed to pull our credit First, we came in letting them know we already had financing and we would not be going through them. They told us that they needed to pull our credit to “verify” that we are who we say we are, it’s company policy and no way around it. As soon as I questioned this his demeanor with us changed. We fought with them and told them there was no need to pull credit. After more fighting and the salesman, Mike Molloy, going to “talk to the manager” miraculously there is now a way around a credit pull. All of this was of course because they would try to convince us to go with one of their finance institutions. Second, our bank made the wire transfer, we showed a confirmation to them but now they couldn’t give us the truck without their bank confirming the funds and this could take up to 24 hours or possibly until Monday because it was Friday. This was a major problem because we came from 3 hours away for this truck. Of course, after more fighting with them and “talks to the manager” miraculously about 20 mins later the bank all of a sudden confirmed the wire transfer. We spent 5 hours in this dealership to buy a truck. With this crazy car market, the drive and our time spent, we didn’t want to walk away. We next went to go sign all paperwork, the “finance guy” had 1 person ahead of us. We stood in front of his office waiting our turn, he made a bunch of calls and pretended to look busy, made a bunch of different calls, walked out of and then took us after about 30 mins of waiting. Of course we knew that at this point with all of the fighting, these people were not happy with us. We ended up buying the car after so many headaches and fights.
