Mike was great. Very professional and thoroughly explained the problem and reviewed all my options as well as cost of repairs. I was not happy when I found out that Shottenkirk adds another 3% penalty charge when you use a credit card to pay your bill. That is like a cheap shot to the guts after getting hit with an unexpected $1400+ bill. Don’t be cheap Shottenkirk. Either build that in to your business cost, or suck it up as a price of doing business. I certainly don’t mind paying for professional service from top tier mechanics, but don’t be cheap and nickel and dime your customers like that. Mike did everything he could to work with me and his service was definitely the best part of the experience. If you’re going to continue to upcharge 3%, it may be worth my time to shop around and price out other service centers. More
