We dropped our car off on the evening of 12/26/19 for it to be serviced first thing in the morning on 12/27. There were some recall issues that were being addressed as well as some weird electrical issues that were taking place. I explained how the windshield wipers would intermittently just come on. When there wasn't a threat if impending rain my husband would simply remove the fuse. Additionally, multiple, random warning lights would flash on and off while the vehicle would make dinging noises (quite annoying). This would happen several times in a short period of time. Jo Beukman offered to repair the windshield wiper switch fir a few hundred dollars and couldn't explain the random flashing warning signals and noises. For that we were charged $243.50! No repair work, no explanation, and the car still flashes every warning on the dash and makes dinging noises regularly. We had to rent a car while they kept our vehicle fir an entire week. They attempted to charge us per hour for their "we don't know what's wring" diagnoses! If the dealer can't figure out whats wrong what do we we do. We purchased our used Ford Exploreer from a local Ford dealership in the summer of 2018. I am very dissatisfied with Ford, their stupid mechanics, and their charging us to tell us nothing! We try to support American made products but maybe buying foreign is the way to go. More
