I have been going to Lake City GMC for almost four years. for preventative maintenance. I’ve been a mechanic 50 yrs, I hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and later I had an industrial generator syste for preventative maintenance. So I’m very impressed with Lake City. GMC, the service dep’t is excellent. Robbie is my “go too” person, he’s a professional and an asset to the dealership. I can add another paragraph about him, he’s great. The mechanics are great also I typically watch them behind the safety line. I’d like to shine a light on Kodie, one of the mechanics. He’s truly a master mechanic. Every employee are cordial and friendly. I never had a negative event. Management did a good job to have a great crew. It’s a hour drive one way and it’s worth it. More

It's only when things don't go as planned that you really see how good a dealership is. My new truck broke down away from home with only 11K miles. GM roadside towed it to Lake City which was the dealers see how good a dealership is. My new truck broke down away from home with only 11K miles. GM roadside towed it to Lake City which was the dealership I bought it from. It took the better part of a day. To say I was extremely disappointed would be an understatement. These trucks have known issues (fuel module) and the Lake City Service Team - Robbie and Mitch - were aware of them. While fuel contamination was ruled out, there was no attempt to make this out as anything but the warranty/defective design/part issue it was. I appreciated their honesty and their attempts to get me back on the road as quickly as possible while still being thorough that the problem had been addressed. It is only because the great Lake City Service Team I am considering keeping the truck and would consider another GMC in the future. More
