I went in for an oil change on my 2018 Jeep Sahara. Boy was I in shock $168.00 for an oil change with an oil filter. They also said that the air filter and cabin filter needs replacement. I approved the ca was I in shock $168.00 for an oil change with an oil filter. They also said that the air filter and cabin filter needs replacement. I approved the cabin filter but not the air filter because it had been replaced last winter. When I returned home I checked the air box and it was NEVER touched it was still dusty no finger prints nothing. My question is how does a mechanic know that the air filter needs replacement without opening the air box. Last oil change there. Next time I go to Robin Ford and get an oil change for$49.95 call and ask. More
