BEWARE! !! Do not let this happen to you!! Classic bait-and-switch. On Feb 13, 2026 I responded to an online listing at Route 17 Mitsubishi for a 2025 Mitsub !! Do not let this happen to you!! Classic bait-and-switch. On Feb 13, 2026 I responded to an online listing at Route 17 Mitsubishi for a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Trail Edition. The internet price showed $21,955 (MSRP $32,060) with a dealer discount and a $500 conditional offer. Before driving in, I asked them to confirm the internet price and that there were no hidden requirements. Tiffany called and also texted me the price, saying there would be “no surprises” after checking with her manager. Based on that written confirmation, I drove out of state for a 9:45 AM appointment on Feb 14, 2026. When I arrived, I waited about 40 minutes, then met with a sales rep named Derrick. After speaking with the manager on duty (Chris), they refused to honor the confirmed price and said the internet price changes “every 3 hours” because of Mitsubishi corporate. While I was there, the listing updated and the numbers changed, resulting in a price about $2,500 higher than what was confirmed to me in writing the day before. I showed the texts and timestamped screenshots — they still wouldn’t honor it. No apology, and the manager was rude/unprofessional. This was a very disappointing experience and misleading and certainly dishonest and untrustworthy. I’m posting this so others don’t waste time traveling based on a confirmed “internet price.” I’m not new to buying cars, and this isn’t how reputable dealerships operate when a price is confirmed ahead of time. More

I had a 10:30 appointment for an oil change took over 2 hours was told they were washing car and I would be on my way, the car was not washed.
