Neal Graham was great to work with, but the finance department failed. I felt they haggled me on the interest rate and the dealership was never willing to negotiate on the list price. Aundrey, Sorry for the delay in getting back with you. I had trouble researching this because there is no record of you in our system, this deal was with someone you accompanied. After checking with manager I figured out the story here: The price on the vehicle is $29,997. My cost on the vehicle is $28,665 which is a $1,332 profit margin (4.4%), hence the hesitance to discount any more. Also, of all sixteen comparable 2017 Honda Pilot Elite’s currently listed for sale in a 150 mile radius of Noblesville (46060) our car is ranked #3 in price and #3 in value taking into consideration miles. As for interest rate; we sent the credit application to 4 lenders. Toyota Financial Services (TFS) being the best coming in at 3.86%, 5/3rd was 4.59%, Cap One was 5.3%, and Teachers Credit Union was 5.95%. Keep in mind this is a 5-yr old vehicle with over 100k miles (interest rates are higher as the car get older). We don’t walk-away from a car deal very often. In this case, I feel this review is unfair that we didn’t work with you enough to make this happen. We were all-in on helping you get to $425 pmt. But that was just not mathematically possible without as cash down. If you have any questions or would like to talk more, my cell is 317-385-9572. Thanks, Eric Sarjeant, GM
