Very bad customer service I have purchased 3 cars from Kelly most recently a Jeep about 2 months ago. I will not do business with Kelly going forward. The reason for this is I recently brought my Q50 Kelly most recently a Jeep about 2 months ago. I will not do business with Kelly going forward. The reason for this is I recently brought my Q50 in for brake service when it was time to review the cost the service writer went over the cost of after marketing vs factor that was fine he told me one factory brake calibers would cost as much as two aftermarket. When I asked him to redo the quote he told me a story about needing to redo it and it would not have all the numbers. This was my mistake I should have forced the issue and made him update the quote. The end cost was over 1000.00 more than what he verbally said. I explained to the service writer that the car is a 4th vehicle I want it to be safe but don’t want to spend 1000’s on it. I believe the reason I did not get the updated quote is the service writer knew I would have passed and went to an independent. The verbal cost around 1600.00 the real cost 2700.00 I was also told the car needed air boxes but because of the cost I passed on the work. I picked the car up it was dirty and surprise the check engine light is on because of the air box. I am not saying the dealership made the check engine light come on but interesting timing. Overall bad communication bad service and the story they tell you when you buy a car from them about being a family run dealership that cares does not hold up on the backend. I get well run dealerships make their money on service. My advice never accept a verbal quote from Kelly. More
