This has to been the worst car shopping experience that I've ever had. The saleman tried to slam me with an add-on of more than $25K, lying about it being an automatic charge. They ran my credit through their own financing company (got the alert while in their office), after I told them that I was pre-qualified with Capital One- who was supposed to have a partnership with them. The salemen kept asking if they could try other lenders saying that Capital One came back that I needed a down payment of $10K-- a flat out LIE! Mind you, I was pre-qualified for $60K with a down payment of $4K. I have multiple credit cards with Capital One so I trusted that the details that they provided me was correct. After ultimately leaving, I get an alert from Transunion that they had finally pulled a credit report. Followed by calls, texts, and an email from them stating, "Good news, we got Capital One to agree with what you said". Their predatory practices are HORRIBLE, and there's no wonder that no one was in there. Other dealerships on Golf Rd. were PACKED!!! (I'll be going back to one of them even though this dealership has the car that I want.) Then when I spoke with the general manager he tried to justify the add-on slamming, his saleman and his deceptive practices, and basically told me that TransUnion's explanation of the two hard inquires was incorrect. DON'T TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I'll be contacting the Capital One, the FTC, the BBB, and the State of IL to share my experience. More

Well I bit the bullet and decided to get back on the car bandwagon after being car-free for the last 5-6 years (city girl here!). The process was smooth and straight forward from Sales to Finance (shout out to Mike and Victor!!) Never was given the order # or Vin for tracking. But so happy when it arrived. When it came in Rohrman managers made me re negotiate the price. Off putting since I did that and after agreed out $5,000.00 deposit back in April. Almost got deposit back and walked out. Crystal did great job getting them to hold the price.
