Retired Fire fighter/Paramedic. I was always interested in cars, so I decided to sell Toyota's as my hobby. I started washing cars then selling them. I enjoyed working in the automotive industry and wanted to learn and work in all departments of the dealership. This experience groomed me to being the General Manager of this beautiful Toyota dealership here at Alan Jay Toyota. My parents told me to do something in life that you love and you will never work a day in your life. My customers are the most important thing to me. I strive to provide them with the best experience. I understand purchasing a vehicle is not fun! I was even told by some of my customers they would rather go to the dentist then purchase a car that is until they met me. Perfect car buying experience thanks to general manager Nick Salerno's leadership. Car salesman Ryan Barkey did a great job helping us; we came in for one model and ended up with something better. The entire sales staff did a wonderful job with my purchase. Jordan did an exceptional job keeping me informed during the sales and delivery process. The mechanical inspection pre-delivery was complet purchase. Jordan did an exceptional job keeping me informed during the sales and delivery process. The mechanical inspection pre-delivery was complete. But some other items were ignored. The headlights were so clouded that driving at night was a scary experience for me. Bear in mind that a visual inspection only showed moderate oxidation, I did not expect the huge reduction in light output that I experienced. After reconditioning, the lights perform as expected. I recommend adding a night test drive or some other method to determine if the headlights are performing within an acceptable level to the pre-delivery checklist. I believe headlights should be considered a safety related system The other item of concern is the front climate control fan motor. A moderately loud rumble and vibration can be heard whenever the fan is running. LOOK it's a 9 year old vehicle, and not really a safety issue, So it' not Alan Jay's responsibility to repair or disclose this condition. As others have mentioned, the price was more than competitive without the back and forth negotiating that I have dealt with over 30 years of car buying. Overall a Great experience. More
