First, I am a Kia (manufacturer) customer for life; fantastic vehicles, great price, and they absolutely stand behind their product. Probably not returning to the dealership service department however. When i got there for my appointment, no one spoke to me, at all, for almost 15 minutes. When I was spoken to I definitely felt like a secondary priority, and it looked like everyone else received the same treatment.At the checkin I was asked if I had replaced my brakes yet, because "they told me at my last two oil changes that it needed to be done". I was not told that and on reviewing my paperwork it said that the breaks were in very good condition. I had a medical appointment for a little over 2 hour from then so I said I would wait and make an appointment for next week. I was assured they could complete all the work in time but I decided not to risk it. I was then told I had to sign a waver before I left because of the safety concerns (before they even saw the vehicle). Two and half hours later they pulled my van out (fortunately my next appointment was very accomodating, I do recomend Target Optical for a great experience), telling me that they were only able to change the oil and were not able to complete any of the safety checks or other services...oh yeah and they charged more than they said. Although I was planning to come back for the brakes, I will now be going to the mechanic that the rest of my family swears by. More

Service was timely, and got me on the road for my travel to Orlando on December 13, 2024. I have an issue with the verbage on service paperwork. Warranty 2018 Kia Soul. In Oct 26/ finished Dec 3, service rep Anthony Salvatierra not good. Poor follow up, I had to contact him Every time. Had to finally Speak with N In Oct 26/ finished Dec 3, service rep Anthony Salvatierra not good. Poor follow up, I had to contact him Every time. Had to finally Speak with Nick ( head of service) who quickly handled our car and got the work completed quickly. Once Anthony returned from 2 PTO ‘s with no follow up, attempted to close out the warranty and honestly had no clue of details. Changed the warranty information 3 times and at very first call attempted to simply tell me the Kia Was not under warranty. Not until I pushed back on more details of why not he them changed and agreed that it was covered. ?? He is not effective with more than basic requirements. He lost all my confidence all the way until the end. He was unable to provide me with a document that clearly shows a New Engine was installed on such date at such miles. Something that will easier show that a major repair was performed. Could not produce that. It’s simply mixed in the middle of tires and oil change on the service paperwork. His communication is poor and not clear. Will make sure he is not used again. Nick was very professional and response was on point. More
