Even though I repeated multiple times that I was not in a rush and I wanted to see my options in terms of financing, the process became extremely rushed and I had been forced to ingest a lot of information without really having time to elaborate it properly. First I got told I needed some kind of car insurance even to just be able to look at financing rates with any bank. When I stipulated one, I got pretty much talked into a deal with included warranty through Honda financing. The rate was good but telling me "you won't find any better rates anywhere else" doesn't mean that I should not be given the opportunity to at least try. Even just quickly looking at some examples would have been helpful. While I was still thinking about it I got presented with paper to sign and got told "I already ordered the car". This is not how business is done. I admit the warranty is convenient, given the financing rate, but it was an additional cost which resulted in me paying more than anticipated in the end. I walked in thinking I would have used that day to weigh my options and decide what to do within a week or so and walked out (very late because of the wait for the paperwork etc) with a car that I feel like I was "partly forced" to buy. I might have ended buying it anyways because, after looking elsewhere, I saw that the only better deal would have been better by just a few hundred dollars and without some of the advantages I have with this warranty. However, buyers should not be "rushed" like this and hearing that phrase made me really wonder if I was being ripped off to be honest... More
