Im 23 and I Bought a 2022 Accord 2. 0 with my dad and the sales was negotiable. The car market in general isn't in anyone's side but I'm happy with my new car. I needed to get my son’s car in for service at Honda City Chicago and I called to schedule an appointment. I called and got transferred a few times and finally left a voicemail. No one responded to my message, no one called me back. I reached out to the salesman who sold us the car, Cesar Ambrosio, and learned he was no longer with Honda City Chicago. But here’s why my experience was positive - Cesar, who didn’t have to and who doesn’t even work there anymore, made some calls on my behalf and got us in at Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn. He got me in touch with Jonathan, who was able to help me out right away. I now know where I’ll be going for service from now on. Thank you, Cesar, for going above and beyond when you didn’t have to. Honda City Chicago lost a great salesman and any future business from me. More

I had my vehicle towed in on Saturday. I told the advisor the car has no power in drive, I have a transmission light and an emissions light on, and also a transmission leak. They told me the cause of my issu the car has no power in drive, I have a transmission light and an emissions light on, and also a transmission leak. They told me the cause of my issue is a transmission pressure sensor and fill plug and to install a new one it’s gonna be 879 dollars. So I had them install the sensor. I get a text saying to call them as soon as I can. I call them, what they say is the tech installed the sensor and it still doesn’t have power in drive and now it needs a new transmission unit and it’s gonna cost 7000. I called the service manager and he tells me that it’s part of a process of elimination and that’s the first step. No one told me that. I was told that’s the pressure sensor is the issue. He lowered the first to 709 insisting they told me it’s a process and that’s the first step. 709 to tell me the sensor is not the issue and it’s need a 7000 transmission. I had my vehicle towed out and the whole process they acted like my vehicle wasn’t in the lot. I paid and they didn’t give me my car keys and they drove my car to the alley and had the tow truck driver go to a different lot to get the car. They made the whole process a mess. VERY VERY SHADY DEALERSHIP TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I AM WARNING ANYONE WHO HAS BOUGHT A CAR OR LOOKING TO PURCHASE ONE FROM HERE AS DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR "SMOOTH" PROCESS. I bought a honda civic which I fo WARNING ANYONE WHO HAS BOUGHT A CAR OR LOOKING TO PURCHASE ONE FROM HERE AS DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR "SMOOTH" PROCESS. I bought a honda civic which I found out that the selling price was $2000 higher than the moroney sticker that was not in the vehicle after we left. A year and a half later, we saw that they took complete advantage of us and added warranties that cost over $4500 of bs that is already covered by the manufacturer for 3 years on bumper to bumper problems. We have gone here 5 different times and each time they refuse to cancel the OPTIONAL WARRANTIES THAT CAN BE CANCELLED AT ANY TIME. We are talking with the attorney general office of illinois as this is how pathetic this dealership is as we already bought a different car and had the odometer statement and they still refused which we know is illegal and we will do everything we can to let the internet know about this unbelievable practice this store does. More

Fraud Dealership in Chicago, adding pain to the Car Buying P rocess I am based out of Columbus, OH and was working with Mike Siddiqui on a 2018 Honda CRV. Initially, Mike shared a quote with me which was least $1000 lower than other Honda Dealers based out of Ohio. Later, I called Mike multiple times to validate the quote and also to ensure there was no hidden price. I even requested Mike to share a final out to door price before I visit to Honda City dealership from Ohio to Illinois. But, he kept insisting then he can provided final information only on arrival. He also assured me that there was no hidden price in the provided quote. Finally, I made a trip to his dealership from Ohio to Illinois in a Greyhound bus ( 8 hours trip) so that I can purchase the vehicle and drive back to Ohio. When I reached Honda City dealership, Mike person was very different. Mike even did not bother to come and greet me. A salesperson came and started assisting me. When I insisted on Mike, he came out and said to work with the Sales Person and later he will work on pricing. Later, when it came to discussing the pricing, Mike quote was even higher than Ohio Dealers. He justified the difference by saying that initially, he counted for multiple rebates which I am not eligible for and thus your quote is $1000 more than the earlier quote provided. I reiterated that I asked about hidden prices or surprises over phone and emails and he kept insiting that there is nothing as such. Also, throughtput the conversation on phone and emails, this Sales guy never brought point of rebates. Finally, I escalated this issue to the Dealership Manager Mr. Pat and he was also very rude and only supporting his team. I was extremely disappointed with this experience at this dealership and just dropped to buy a vehicle from such fraudsters who do not understand the pain of customers and just try to pull them to their dealership with fake quotes. I insist all the potential buyers, buy their vehicle from Genuine dealers vs such dealers who actually fake information just for business purpose and add pain to Car Buying process More

Dennis Orihuela is very knowledgeable about finance and is willing to work with customers to answer all questions and takes the time to walk through the process regarding any finance questions and concerns. It was a pleasure working with the Honda staff in purchasing my car.
