This was my 3rd vehicle purchased from this dealership and Patrick made the process super simple. It was about 2 hours from pulling into the lot for a test drive, to driving home in my new car. I had a great experience with Gay Family Kia! James Delesandri was very patient with me while I made my decision. He had 3 cars ready for me to test drive when I arrived as I spoke to him over th James Delesandri was very patient with me while I made my decision. He had 3 cars ready for me to test drive when I arrived as I spoke to him over the phone the day before. After I drove the Kia that I bought I decided that I wanted to purchase this hybrid. He took me over to meet with Patrick and walked me through the options on the car and explained and helped me set up the vehicle after I met with the Finance Department. Mr. Gerardo Corona was very pleasant to work with during the finance part. He even helped me to initiate a window claim that I had to make on the 3rd day of owning the vehicle. I was on my way to work and a huge piece of road debris flew into my windshield. I was very thankful that I purchased the window insurance policy at time of purchase. Living in our area it is a must. On the 3rd day I had to make a call to James and Gerardo to help me figure out what I needed to do to start the process. Gerardo gave me the information that I needed to start the claim. I called the company to start the claim and the person I spoke with stated that it would be a few days for them to get back with me as the car was just purchased and they don't even have me in the system. I still have not spoken with the company yet. The damage on the windshield was so bad that it created a hole and glass was on the dash. I was concerned if I kept driving it that the windshield would come into me as the cracks kept spreading. The next day I called Gerardo again to let him know what Easycare said and that I had not heard back from them. Gerardo and James got with Roy, the service manager at Gay Family Kia to see what he could do. Roy found out that one of the pieces of the windshield was backordered and asked me to bring my car to them. After I brought my car to GFK I headed out of town for 2 weeks so I left the car at the service department waiting on the part. Roy called me a couple of times letting me know that the status still had not changed on the backorder part. I really appreciated him keeping me in the loop. On May 26th I reached out to James and Roy to let them know I am back in town and really need a vehicle rather it was my car or a loaner. Roy called me back letting me know that they were going to try and reuse the original part that is on backorder. If that works then I could pick up my car on the 26th or 27th. I do want to say that Roy offered me to pick up my vehicle the entire process, but I was just concerned that the windshield was too bad to drive it and worried that if something else hit it that the entire windshield would collapse on me. Just felt it was better that I left it there. Roy called me yesterday (May 26th) to let me know that they were able to do the replacement using the original part from the vehicle. I called James to let him know that the car is ready and he picked me up and took me to the dealership as I didn't have a ride to come get it. I have known James for over 15 years which is one main reason I chose to give James a chance to sell me a car. All in all this has been a great experience dealing with Gay Family Kia. I am coming from owning a few luxury brands and was definitely worried about customer service and GFK has really gone above and beyond to make this a great experience. More
