Kinda Disappointed This Time I normally have absolute faith in the service I get here but not this time. The main computer on my 2015 Explorer blacked out one morning, thought I normally have absolute faith in the service I get here but not this time. The main computer on my 2015 Explorer blacked out one morning, thought better of it, rebooted itself, and all systems came back on within 30 seconds. Nevertheless, I requested service; particularly because this had happened less than a year before and this was a practically new computer. When I made the appointment, the service person said the computer was under warranty and he would order a new one. When I read the service report after picking up my car, I was extremely disappointed to see that my Explorer's computer was only "rebooted" and NOT replaced! This is reason #1 why I no longer trust C.Wimberly Ford Service. Now I will explain issue #2: When I made the appointment for the computer, I also requested the recall for the toe link issue be addressed. The same service tech said that would take a full day so we scheduled accordingly. Well, the computer problem, the recall issue, plus an oil change was all done in a HALF DAY. I can't help but wonder. So, in one visit, my faith, trust, and loyalty to Ford and this dealership have been destroyed. More

Considering that, Pat gave me a wonderful SUV to drive while the problem was figured out. ( I will not get into detail about that) We knew we had to buy a other car. so we did. Jr. looked all over for one that met my specifications. And I love it , (except the trunk has to be opened manually) and I have a car payment now. Little to gripe about that. The last one we bought was very tough,my son wrecked the first one, and was looking for the same exact truck. Wow the team at the took on the task,not only finding the right one,but the owner Chuck took his own time after hours to drive up into Kalamazoo area to personally check it out. When the truck was delivered,it was like brand new..... The staff even stayed late (everyone ) involved to insure my 16 year old was wowed.....
