“It’s says it’s reserved for me” I recently bought a 2018 Honda Civic for my sister from Hendricks Honda and it was a super smooth experience. I went in a week before found the car my I recently bought a 2018 Honda Civic for my sister from Hendricks Honda and it was a super smooth experience. I went in a week before found the car my sister wanted and Danielle got it all ready then I came in with my sister a week later and she filled the car with balloons and put a reserved sign inside with her name on it. My sister was sooo shocked when she opened the door because she was expecting a used car, It was great considering this is her first car. She even had tears in her eyes. Danielle was super super nice and knowledgeable every step of the process was seamless and easy. Peter walked us through the paperwork and financing part of it. Peter was very welcoming and fast made sure we understood everything along with the aftermarket products available which we took all of them. The best part was when Danielle explained all the cool features the cars had as she showed us how to use them and literally told us what every single bottom does. From the apple play to the remote start. Thank you so much Danielle for making my sisters first car experience one that she will never forget ! More

Home away from home I have had many vehicles in my life. But this is my fifth Honda accord with this dealership. They treat me like family every time I am there. Fooled Twice...and never again! I own a 2010 Honda Civic. It has 66K miles and I finally paid it off!!! They really are good cars and any dealership that sells Honda should be proud I own a 2010 Honda Civic. It has 66K miles and I finally paid it off!!! They really are good cars and any dealership that sells Honda should be proud. That being said, Hendrick Honda in Pompano Beach is NOT such a place. Today, 02/13/2016, I went in to the service department to inquire about why my A/C was not working. Peter Gamez, service advisor, told me it would cost $149.95+tax, total amount $158.95. I should have said no and walked out then...but I didn't. I wanted to give this service department one more chance to be honest. I watched as my car was driven away to be inspected. After a reasonable amount of time, Mr. Gamez returned and suggested to me that we replace the compressor, and the $149.95 would go toward the repair. Let me break this down...to repair the compressor was quoted at $900.00. That includes the compressor, the clutch, and the coil, plus labor. After hearing this and making a few calls, I denied the request to fix the car, knowing $900.00 was simply too much to fix the car. After saying, "No, I do not want to have your guys fix it, please draw up the paperwork and let me get out of here." Mr. Gamez left to fill out the paperwork. I went over to the parts department and asked about purchasing a new compressor. He told me it’s going to be $540.00. Mr. Gamez saw me at the parts department and visited with me again. He told me that he would do the repair for $670.00, but that would be the best he could do, and really couldn’t do more than 10% off the price of the repair. I declined again. When the paperwork arrived, I signed the paperwork and paid the $149.95+tax and left. When I got home, I read the invoice. "Customer States the A/C is not blowing cool. Check and advise. Fans engage but compressor does not when AC commanded ON. Power Present at Relay Location: SWAPPED KNOWN GOOD RELAY AND POWER IS PRESENT AT COMPRESSOR CONNECTOR. Clutch/coil shows signs of overheating. Check system R134 Charge. GOOD. 39kg. Customer declined repair- Recommended replacing Compressor and Relay.” Question??? After charging me $149.95+tax, why wouldn't they just leave the working relay switch intact? Why did they say there were signs of overheating? Signs of overheating are, chipped paint on the clutch, wire insulation burnt off, leaving exposed wires. There are none of these signs on the clutch or the wiring. Now, it clearly states that replacing the switch made the a/c work again. Why wouldn't they just repair the switch? Because they wanted to replace the compressor and charge me $900.00. Then after noticing that I would do it myself, lowered the price to $670.00. I went to Advanced Auto Parts for Item# R6242 and bought a new relay switch for $5.99+tax. I came home and put the new one in, JUST LIKE THEY DID AT THE DEALERSHIP! And when I turned on the a/c, the clutch was moving, the fan was moving, and cold air was filling the interior of the car. There are no signs of overheating, and no signs that I need a new compressor. Needless to say, I am finished with this dealership. I am going to do a chargeback on the credit card, and never go to this dealership AGAIN!!! I strongly suggest you do NOT get your car serviced by this dealership. They will rip you off. You can count on it! More
