I REACHED OUT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND APPARENTLY IT WAS A CALL CENTER. I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE RECEIVING A CALL SHORTLY FROM THE SALES DEPARTMENT. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I SAW AT LEAST 50 VEHICLES THAT I WAS INT CALL CENTER. I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE RECEIVING A CALL SHORTLY FROM THE SALES DEPARTMENT. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I SAW AT LEAST 50 VEHICLES THAT I WAS INTERESTED IN AND TOOK THE CHANCE AND DROVE 5.5 HOURS TO BE VERY DISSAPOINTED. I WAS TOLD ONCE WE WENT INSIDE AND MET THE SALESMAN THAT THEY NORMALLY DONT HAVE PEOPLE WALK IN AND WANT TO LEAVE IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME WITH THE VEHICLE OF THEIR CHOICE. I WAS READY TO WRITE A CHECK TO PAY IN FULL AND WAS ADVISED IT WOULD BE BETTER IF WE WERE TO FINANCE . ALSO I WAS TOLD THAT THE VEHICLE WE WERE LOOKING AT WENT TO THE COLLISION REPAIR SHOP WITH $ 2,800.00 IN REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED. I WAS ALLOWED TO VIEW PICTURES OF THE ISSUES AND I TOLD THEM I WOULD TAKE THE VEHICLE AS IS . FOR THIS I WAS OFFERED A $ 1,500.00 DISCOUNT NOT THE FULL $ 2,800.00. IM A SMALL MOM & POP RETAILER AND COULD NEVER GET AWAY WITH THE WAY WE WERE TREATED. APPEARED TO US THAT THE DEALERSHIP ONLY WANTED TO PRAY ON THE LESS FORTUNATE WITH BAD CREDIT TO FINANCE THEM . An amazing and easy experience! I stopped by on my way to work just to see what they had knowing I'd want to be buying a car soon, was approached by Peter, not as a salesman, but as I stopped by on my way to work just to see what they had knowing I'd want to be buying a car soon, was approached by Peter, not as a salesman, but as a normal guy trying to help me out and take care of me. He wasn't pushy and treated me the way you would hope a salesperson would. He worked very hard to help me narrow down what I needed by asking the right qualifying questions and went above and beyond to help me out and get what I needed and wanted. He did more than just his job to help me out and get me to drive my new car off the lot. I have worked at a few car and motorcycle dealerships over the years and they could all learn a thing or two from you guys! Thanks to Peter and the rest of the staff that I met during my time I would highly recommend Merchants to any of my friends, family, and anyone else looking for a recommendation for a place to buy a car! I came to him after being suckered at a different dealership. When things were settled with that situation, I came back to Peter after witnessing how dedicated he was to help when I last visited. Knowing that I was not going to buy a car at that moment, he still went out of his way to find a way for me. After a few visits, and a couple complimentary coffees, Peter found the perfect fit for what I wanted and I absolutely love driving this thing.
