New car purchase. John was great to deal with. He was patient with me as it was during the beginning of the shut down in March. He was respectful when I asked to wait o John was great to deal with. Good generally- need adjustment My hi-mileage '16 Outback is still untested; purchased in the Fall- experienced electrical problems when cold weather came- nursed it w/ a battery cha My hi-mileage '16 Outback is still untested; purchased in the Fall- experienced electrical problems when cold weather came- nursed it w/ a battery charger thru the Winter- went to Service to chk out- eventually they determined a new battery was in order- installed a new battery. Since, the virus caused non-emergency travel, for which I shut use of the car down, suspended the insurance and now do minimal travel w/ my wife's car. The adustment I need is a reboot of the extended warranty we purchased so it covers use/miles when its finally feasible to get it on the road again. (presently has 100,795 miles on odometer- looking forward to using my beautiful new used car !!)) More

Luther White Bear Acura sold me a used 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with cigarette smoke damage. A quality dealership won't accept a trade-in that has been smoked in. Won't sell it as a "clean" car, without disclaimer or discount. My used car had been heavily smoked in. If you are concerned about previous ownership, GET IT IN WRITING. I bought my car June 2019 and it still smells like cigarettes. They managed to conceal that by detailing it twice before I bought it. After I took it back, the first attempt to fix failed. This is a health issue for me. It has been a struggle. Even the owners manual reeked of cigarettes when I opened it. I haven't gone back after second effort to deodorize my car wore off. I am disgusted. I paid $15,000 for a damaged vehicle. They should give me a partial or complete refund. It's a beautiful car, but I don't want to keep it. Everyone with leasing and used car sales experience says cigarette odor NEVER comes out. Finance guy was rude. I felt bullied. More

Incredibly disappointed by the service provided at White Bear Subaru. Nothing was done without me following up on each step. Would choose to go elsewhere. It was known we were coming from a distance and probably assumed it was a done deal. The two cars discussed were not pulled up even though he knew that time of our arrival. The first one we test drove was filthy. Splatters if polish not rubbed in on the exterior and interior. The car had not been cleaned, food crumbs littered all over the floor. We were not acknowledged upon our return. Went to look at other cars in the lot and then had to wait to be served again. When we finally got to talk to the dealer again, he seemed bothered by our presence, could not adequately respond to our questions nor did he even attempt to find the other vehicle I had mentioned the day before I was interested in. When asked about it he begrudgingly went to locate it. It took nearly 20 minutes for him to find it. We were about to leave when he drove up with it. We test drove it and then the waiting games started again. Finally we got answers to our questions. While I didn’t want to make a sale with the guy, it was a car I wanted so I did. We had a much more personable experience with the man in finance. Which was a delightful change and the only reason I didn’t give this dealership a one star rating. License plates came and they called me to see if I wanted to drive down to get them put on, when it had been discussed for them to be mailed to me due to how far away I lived. I also had to follow up on the other items we had discussed would be mailed to me. Hopefully a one off experience but certainly has left a mark in weather I’d recommend the place or return in the future. More
