Hi Angela, Thanks for responding. I explained the situation in my review but to give you a little more info: Whenever I’ve lived in Wisconsin, I have used Heiser Ford for service. I bought a SHO from you guys and referred three or four friends who bought cars at your location. For years, Terry Anderson was my service advisor. At one point, he left and I started working with Kirk. After Kirk left, it seemed to be a revolving door of advisors, each with less experience than the one before. I take immaculate care of my cars, a couple years ago, I even had the water pump replaced on my 2017 MKX as a precaution since it is internal and timing chain driven. The advisor at the time was clueless about cars and even admitted it. I told her to have the tech inspect the cam phasers for me while the work was being done and she tried to charge an extra $400. I told her that was nonsense since the tech literally touches them to remove the timing chains. She admitted she knew little about cars and said she wouldn’t charge extra. There was other work I had done on the MKX at other time, one was a request to change the PTU fluid. When I picked up the car, the paperwork said it wasn’t done because “ford says the fluid is lifetime” but you can bet I was still charged for it. No fluid is lifetime and if I said change it, change it. I ended up paying a local mechanic to change it instead. Told them also to replace the battery since it was five years old at the time, they said it tested fine and didn’t replace it. I got stranded a week later. Had it in another time and the cabin filter was labeled green on the checklist. I took it out later and it was black. It’s just like you guys don’t care anymore. I even had the transmission replaced on my old MKX Hybrid under warranty by you guys and when I got the car back, the rocker cover was crushed by the lift. Your collision center replaced it and painted it. Even after all of this, I had referred two more friends to buy cars. Recently, a friend of mine bought a Certified 2021 Nautilus from Hutch and I came with and chatted with Bob a bit. He offered me an oil change for the referrals and I figured it would be a way to try you guys again because I stopped using your service after all of the issues. Surprise, an issue again. I even called about having a key programmed for my partner’s car recently since you guys did one a couple of years ago on my MKX for $69. The person on the phone gave me attitude when I questioned why it’s $200 now so I took it to Uptown. The car ended up needing a new transceiver in the car too, so Uptown got that sale instead of Heiser since it was already there because they said they’d do the key for like $89. Even there, I had communication issues, it’s like Ford dealers just don’t care or try anymore. I don’t know what happened to Heiser Ford, you guys used to be great but even my buddy’s Nautilus purchase was bumpy. I live in Wauwatosa and have always been loyal to you guys so I’d drive across town but it just doesn’t seem worth the hassle anymore. You guys can’t even replace the TV in the customer lounge that’s had half its backlights burning out for at least a couple of years now. I hope this feedback helps you guys. Thanks, Kevin
