I bought a used 2020 Tesla Model X from Redondo

When it came time to finalize the deal, the dealership included two extra products that I explicitly said “no” to and asked to have removed:
SAFE SHIELD (appearance/surface protection): $995
SAFE BUNDLE ALLY (service contract): $2,595
That’s $3,590 in add‑ons. I repeatedly requested they be removed from the deal, but I was told these fees were “standard on all cars sold here” and they would not complete the sale without them. What made this worse is that these items are presented as “optional” in the paperwork, but in practice they were treated as mandatory, which is frustrating and misleading as a buyer.
If you shop here, I strongly recommend getting a written out‑the‑door quote and a buyer’s order in advance showing $0 for any add‑ons you don’t want. If they won’t remove them in writing before you show up or sign, be prepared to walk.
Bottom line: The car was hard to find and I wanted it, but I do not like being forced into expensive add‑ons I tried to decline.
