DO NOT TRUST - On Sunday 10/11, I emailed Capitol Nisson thru CarGuru (where it was listed) & PHILLIP MILLER, our salesman, replied, saying it was on lot and available & to ask for him or his brother TONY. thru CarGuru (where it was listed) & PHILLIP MILLER, our salesman, replied, saying it was on lot and available & to ask for him or his brother TONY. So we drove 2.5 hrs and after a ridiculous amount of time spent trying to locate the car, let alone the keys, we bought it w a 4 yr extended warranty. They then told us it still needed an info update from manufacture. We discussed & worked out the car would be delivered to us by Tony on Thurs or Fri, since he has family in Bakersfield "it'll be no problem". We discussed logistics, signed the paperwork, left $1000 deposit from our Debit card, with the rest due in cashier check at delivery. Wednesday afternoon, we haven't heard from them. I call PHILLIP, leave a voicemail, and he gets back to me - it wasn't just an information update, THEY HADN'T DONE ANY INSPECTION BEFORE SELLING IT And after they completed the inspection, they found out that there was a overheating issue. According to PHILLIP, they then changed the water pump, nope not the fix. NOW, they think it's a cracked head and they're not going to deliver my car. OK, sucks but fine...I want to know - WHERE IS MY $1000 REFUND? Nobody in the organization has reached out. I had to leave a voicemail about a bad review naming people to get a text back from TONY on 10/16, 2 days after PHILLIP told me the finance dept would call me. His text told me the GM would be contacting me about a refund. It's now 10/18 - 2 days after supposed GM contact, 5 days after finance was supposed to give money back & 8 days from initial contract and I haven't heard a word. I have had to file a dispute with my bank about fraud & a breach of contract to get my money refunded. So to recap - they lied, they sold a car that was not safe to sell, they took money under false circumstances and are now failing to refund it. Oh, and they still have the car listed for sale online a week later. UPDATE - it's amazing what bad reviews can accomplish. A couple of hours after posting this on Sun 10/18, I received a call from the finance dept and my refund was issued within 10 mins. I took a couple of days before updating to verify funds were back in my account & to stop the dispute from continuing. All it took was 10 minutes. They ruined a customer relationship, received bad reviews and you can believe I will be talking about this to everyone for years over 10 min of basic customer service. More
