Buyer beware! After the car was paid for in full—and just before delivery—it was held back in service to fix a "Check Engine Light" (CEL) issue. Jacobs claimed th After the car was paid for in full—and just before delivery—it was held back in service to fix a "Check Engine Light" (CEL) issue. Jacobs claimed the issue was resolved and delivered the vehicle, but the CEL came back on two separate occasions within 10 days of the delivery. We took the vehicle for an independent inspection, which contradicted the alleged repairs completed by Jacobs to fix the CEL issue. Furthermore, the inspection revealed the engine bay was power-washed and coated with plastic conditioner in an apparent attempt to hide an active oil leak. Jacobs misled us about the condition of this car. When we escalated these documented issues to Senior Management, they refused to offer any reasonable resolution, hiding behind the phrase "sold as-is with all faults." Save yourself the headache and the financial risk. Stay away from Jacobs! More
