As in most things in life, there was good and bad in the purchase of my Lexus RZ350e. The dealership people were polite and helpful, although the sale took quite a while. During the sale they took us to a purchase of my Lexus RZ350e. The dealership people were polite and helpful, although the sale took quite a while. During the sale they took us to a "financial guy" who tried to sell us a number of "packs" (similar to the undercoating dealers used to sell). The real problem was that my old car was 20 years old and this new car had a lot of features and functions that I was unaware of. To access and control those functions, I had to download the Lexus app, create an ID and password, connect my smartphone to the car, create a profile on the car, and enable my key. That would allow the car to recognize me and set everything up the way I like it. Same thing needed to be done for my wife. Problem is that I didn't know to do all these things because I was coming from a very old car. I received two Owner's Manuals with the car, one is 832 pages, and the other is 316 pages. In plowing through those manuals, I learned what was needed, but had to call Lexus support several times to figure out how to set everything up. I finally got things set up, but it took about a week of trying things, calling Lexus and trying some more. There’s no excuse for this. The dealership should have had a person work with me to set all of this up before I even drove the car off the lot. I sent an email in response to a “thank you” note from the general manager, and he responded and copied three other people. I then replied to all of those people with the information I wrote here. None of the people on the distribution list replied to me. So, yes, they’re all smiles and helpful until you sign. After that, not so much. [Side note on the car. It's a nice car missing two important things: Dog mode and digital key.] More

I do love my Lexus ES300H fsport I purchased HOWEVER I was completely disappointed in my experience. The car smelled like someone smoked in it, before purchasing the vehicle I asked if they had an ozone m was completely disappointed in my experience. The car smelled like someone smoked in it, before purchasing the vehicle I asked if they had an ozone machine, and would they do the treatment on this vehicle before taking it home. Alex texted the service manager and told me yes, they could absolutely do that for me. My first mistake was taking their word and not getting it in writing. I went ahead and purchased the vehicle with no intention of bringing it home until the Ozone and new car filters were replaced. After all the paperwork was signed they came up with an excuse of street repavement and asked if I could just take home until the filters came in. I agreed but honestly the smell was bad so I went home and parked it. When the part came in the following week I dropped the car off. At pick up the car smelled 90% better, but after an ozone treatment it should have been completely gone. I asked if that was done and Alex danced around the question and said his service manager did an odor bomb, that he said it was way better than the ozone "NOT TRUE". I was completely screwed at that point because I had already purchased the car. The smell was almost gone when I picked up so I didn't pitch a fit. Now that ive had the car for several months I can still smell the odor and the trunk is especially pungent. I was completely disappointed in how this entire transaction played out. I spent almost 40,000 on a car and Lexus of Tustin didn't even have the courtesy to do what they assured me would be done. I asked of a manager to return a call after I voiced my concern with the follow up girl, who asks about your experience. No one has ever called me back. Now I am stuck with a car that has an odor of cigarette in it. When I get in and get that first smell, I am irritated with my purchase for them. I wish they would have been true to their word and done the ozone treatment. More
