Thank you for providing your feedback. We would like to clarify the facts regarding your purchase and the extensive support our team has provided over the last weeks. At the time of purchase in mid-August 2025, you selected a vehicle from our Bronze Plus category, which is a specific class of inventory priced at wholesale to the public and sold strictly "As-Is". You were provided with and signed all necessary disclosures acknowledging that any future repairs or maintenance would be your responsibility. While you expressed concern over mechanical issues occurring "almost immediately," our records show that you have driven the vehicle over 12,000 miles in just four months of ownership. This high volume of usage far exceeds standard driving averages and naturally subjects any pre-owned vehicle to significant wear and tear. I would like to also mention the issue presented after an oil change at an independent repair shop not an authorized JLR dealer. Despite having no legal or financial obligation to do so under an "As-Is" agreement, our dealership has consistently gone above and beyond to assist you: We covered the cost of towing your vehicle to our facility and back to your property Our technicians spent several hours diagnosing the issues at no charge to you. We offered financing options for the necessary repairs and presented an aggressive trade-in offer to help you transition into a different vehicle. It is our understanding that due to personal factors, which we will not disclose here to protect your privacy, you were unable to move forward with these resolutions. While we empathize with your situation, it is disappointing to see our efforts to help met with a public attempt to shift blame for standard maintenance and repair costs associated with a high-mileage "As-Is" purchase. We remain committed to professional service, but we must stand by the original terms of the sale which were clearly disclosed and agreed upon at the time of purchase. Thank you for your response. I must correct and clarify several points, as your statement omits material facts. While the vehicle was sold “as-is,” my concerns are not limited to normal wear and tear. The mechanical issues arose immediately after an oil change, and an independent repair facility documented multiple diagnostic fault codes. When I contacted your dealership, I was initially told that the independent diagnosis was incorrect—yet upon arrival at Jaguar Land Rover South Orlando, your technicians documented the same diagnostic codes. This directly contradicts your assertion. Additionally, the assistance you reference was not offered unconditionally. Any offers to assist or move forward were communicated only after I was asked to remove my truthful BBB review, which I declined to do. I have retained recordings and documentation reflecting these communications. Further, while towing was arranged, my vehicle—known to be inoperable—was not returned to my residence but left on private property instead. When I inquired about the condition of my vehicle, including why the battery was dead while in your possession, I was told your team could not speak with me and that I should contact your legal department. I have not misrepresented the facts nor attempted to shift blame. I have consistently sought transparency and accountability regarding the handling of my vehicle and the representations made during this process. My statements are supported by documentation and recordings. I stand by my account and my right to share an accurate reflection of my experience.
