It is unbelievable that he is employed in any job where he must interact with people. He literally told me that he didn't take appointments seriously because some people don't show up. What is the point of making an appointment if your sales person is lying about keeping it? After a nightmare of interactions with him, i was finally assigned to Ray who was infinitely easier to deal with. Even then, the car i bought did not have the features they advertised in bold letters on their website. This place seems like a total scam. Beware. More

I've had one previous car sales experience before purchasing my new car. I was a young guy stationed in California and just off my first deployment, so I had a fair amount of money in the bank; far more than my 20-year-old impulsive self knew how to manage. I spent less than a week researching two different car models with standard transmissions and when I settled on the exact look and trim I wanted, I discovered there were only two cars that fit the criteria within 500 miles of me. One was 10 miles away, the other 450. Naturally I went with the closer one and did everything you weren't supposed to do when buying a car: I told them I only wanted their specific car, the amount I had in the bank, that I wanted the car immediately...pretty much laying all my cards on the table. I didn't ask anything about the car itself, like about warranties, service history, vehicle history reports, any extraneous fees, etc. In the end I left the dealership that day paying $6.5k over the listing price without anything to show for it. Fast forward to the present. I moved to Texas from my home state within the year and this time I did my research. I spent 3 weeks looking at all of the deals out there, not narrowing my search down the slightest. I was mainly concerned about warranties and making sure I got my money's worth this time. Certified Autoplex's "lifetime powertrain warranty" caught my eye and they had 3 cars identical to one I was searching for. This was the 8th dealership I visited within my time car shopping and I had no intention of buying a car when I went in. I just wanted information for comparative analysis. I called Certified Autoplex and Rich invited me to take a look at the cars. When I walked in he greeted me and immediately directed me to someone who could help. Dennis was an absolute pleasure to work with. He didn't pressure me into any kind of decision making and was hellbent on getting all of the facts laid out before I even started the car buying process. He didn't give me any cliche lines like the car being perfect for me, or that he could see me driving in it, or anything of that nature. He was trustworthy and didn't try to hide anything about the car. Most importantly, he always double checked that I understood the facts. He even provided me with advice on external matters, since I'm relatively new to the area. I was completely sold. Despite being unprepared to purchase the car that day, the dealership made the process quick and painless. Jason and Demarcus took the time to go through and explain the fine details, staying after hours, and paying particular attention to the lifetime warranty and options available. There weren't any surprises in store when the pen in my hand started scribbling my signature across all of the documents, unlike my first car buying experience. Even after the fact, Certified Autoplex helped me with problems I was naive about, like the fact that I traded in my old car and didn't know I could transfer my personalized plates to the new one. They searched for my plates, called me as soon as they found them, and helped rectify the situation. I highly recommend you go to Certified Autoplex for your next car purchase. It was worth all my time and effort spent and I consider the whole experience a great success. More

Sales was a good experience, Finance was not. I didn't have any problems with the sales person Rich Hill; he was excellent. However, even though I had a pre-approved letter from my Credit Union f I didn't have any problems with the sales person Rich Hill; he was excellent. However, even though I had a pre-approved letter from my Credit Union for the purchase price, the Finance person insisted that it could not be used. Unfortunately, I was there at 6 PM so couldn't call my CU to verify. Felt pressured to finance through the dealership to actually purchase the car. Said they don't accept drafts, would take up to 2 weeks, etc. - which maybe is true, but I didn't have this same problem when I bought from another dealer 15 years ago with a pre-approved letter. I'm still rating 4 stars since I'm happy with the car itself. More
