I stopped by Vann York to test drive a ‘21 Honda Pilot on my day off and as soon as I entered the dealership, I was greeted by Jose Bustillo who asked if I was working with any of the other salespeople. I ex my day off and as soon as I entered the dealership, I was greeted by Jose Bustillo who asked if I was working with any of the other salespeople. I explained that I just stopped in to test drive a new Honda Pilot. Within 10 minutes I was out on my test drive while Jose arranged for my trade in to be appraised and evaluated. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous in helping me decide on the model that best suited my and my family’s needs. We agreed on a final price for my trade-in with the help of Richard Hamilton their Internet Sales Mgr. and the deal was basically done except the paperwork. Everyone I dealt with at Vann York was professional, courteous, with a “can do” attitude. My wife and I really appreciate doing business with folks like Jose and Richard. And I love my Honda Pilot SE AWD! More

Ask for Al I recently purchased a new Insight from Vann York Honda, and had a great experience working with Al Hosley. I test drove the vehicle with Al, and rece I recently purchased a new Insight from Vann York Honda, and had a great experience working with Al Hosley. I test drove the vehicle with Al, and received a price quote from the manager, Richard. Richard's offer wasn't much to my liking, and he didn't seem all that concerned with my needs as a customer. He was definitely only interested in selling cars, full stop. I didn't speak to him directly for the rest of the process, and if I had, I probably would have taken my business to another dealer. Al, however, showed a genuine interest in my needs as a customer, and kept contact with me throughout the purchasing process. We negotiated back and forth for a couple weeks, and were eventually able to agree on a price. After agreeing to the price, Al had all of my paperwork ready to go before I arrived at my appointment time, so finalizing our deal didn't take much time at all. The dealer was able to bring in the exterior color that I wanted in just 24 hours, which was a really great service. When I arrived the following day to pick up my car, it took 90 minutes for them to bring me three pieces of paper to sign, and to get a temporary plate for the Insight. During that time, numerous sales associates and a couple managers were clearly not busy with other customers. I thought this was a very disappointing way to end an otherwise smooth process by having to wait for so long right at the end, but overall my experience was positive with this dealership. If you are shopping at this dealer, I wholeheartedly recommend asking to work with Al. If you have a specific vehicle in mind that you want to try, he will not try to up-sell you on a different model. He knows the vehicles, and respects the customer. More
