Mark Key west responded

part of general frustration. 1. part of the deal was inclusion of running boards. i had a date in early April to come up from Key West to pick up the car. i decided to come up the night before to avoid 9 hours of driving. i was in Islamorada when i got the message they hadn't been done so i returned to key west. Story was they were backordered. i got a call from you parts department they were in and when could i bring the car in for install (had not completed the deal yet) you had the car. i was paying cash plus trade in. we had agreed price. when i got to the dealership at 930am, they check the car, found some scratches and lowered the trade in by $500. i didnt disagree - there were some additional scratches. there was nothing to negotiate because i had a bank check. it took over 3 hours to complete the transaction. the paperwork took a very long time. I had already arranged with my insurance company to cover the car and had the insurance slip with me. should have been less than an hour. what capped it off was as part of the deal you were replacing the mats that came with the car with Weathertec type. there was a box in the back. i didnt find out until that night that there was no mat for the back. contact sales rep. for 3 weeks he said 'looking into it. finally i bugged him again on Saturday and he got back and said all weather back isnt part of the mats. could have been said weeks ago. It's only $177 so i ordered it directly. I was frustrated at the amount of time spent. I have already ordered the mat i need. I've been buying cars for many years. seemed to me the time invested was more than i've ever spent before
