one 12/15/2022 my car wouldn't start, so I got jumped off using my mini battery charger and scheduled an appointment for 11:45 am I took my Civic straight to Curry Honda. The service department said I ne off using my mini battery charger and scheduled an appointment for 11:45 am I took my Civic straight to Curry Honda. The service department said I needed a "transmission flush, water pump, Alternator, New Battery, Power steering fluid" which was quoted at $6062. I'm sure power steering fluid may be needed "could have been done" but wasn't essential for fixing the issue of my car starting. Come to find out, none of those recommended services would have actually fixed my car. I decided to advanced auto parts and took it to anear auto shop. After they diagnosed my car, the mechanic used his tester and showed me that it was only my battery. After he replaced the battery, My car has now been running perfectly for the last two weeks and all that at the cost of $179 for a battery, for the useless diagnostic they charged me $160 at Curry Honda. . They try to take advantage of people who don't know enough about cars, please don't trust them. Always get a second opinion and there are nearby mechanics that you can actually trust!! We had two Hondas in the family we have been going to this service center ever since we bought the cars but now I will never visit that dealership again!! More
