Hello Kyle, when you brought the vehicle in to service we went to immediate work to identify what was wrong with the 7 year old 72,000 mile vehicle that you purchased from us. It turned out to be an electrical component on the car that was working when you purchased, and had since failed. As the car is, as I mentioned above, 7 years old and has 72,000 miles, it was cost prohibitive the fix it. So to make it right for you we refunded the entire purchase price, including tax, title, and license. When you asked today how much of your down payment you would receive back, I told you "all of it". This we did in less than 24 business hours from the time we told you we would buy it back. Lastly, it is impossible to predict when a component that works on a car at the time of purchase is going to fail. That's why we offered you an extended service agreement to help protect your investment, which you declined. I'm sorry that you're dissatisfied, that is never our goal. We hope you have a safe and happy 2021!

Thats fine and well expect the part about the component failure during my ownership. VAG-COMS indicated component failure long before I took possession of the vehicle. Your salesman stated the vehicle had been inspected by a certified Audi technician and it was a sound vehicle. Any competent technician would have discovered this! Along the same vein the same technician should have noted the oil leak (again any competent technican would have seen the o ring on the drain plug had failed) and the coolant leak. Luther Cadillac was legally obligated to fix the vehicle or refund the entire purchase price. Please reference Minnesota Statue 325F.662.

Keymontae, we are sorry the purchase of your CTS did not go as planned for you. Please remember the Cadillac GM Factory Powertrain Warranty is active on the CTS till February 25th of 2022. If there is a failed component in the transmission as your Cadillac Specialist says there should be no issue getting it covered by him at his GM dealership.
