I live in Rockledge but drive to Coastal Hyndai in Melbourne It is worth the little extra drive for me because of the excellent service that I get from Coastal Hyundai. Wonderful Experience! I"m so glad I took the time go to the dealership, I had been looking online. I really was not going in to purchase, I just wanted to look. Mr Pierini made everything so easy that I knew I was going to make a deal. I was introduced to Mr Maharaj and ,I felt I was in good hands. He gave all the information I wanted and, more. All of my request were carried out and, the next thing I knew was that I was picking up my sweet new car.I was then introduced to Mr Schillinger who familiarized with all the technical aspects of my new car. A Painless buying experience It was a great experience, purchasing my new 2015 Tucson from Coastal Hyundai. At age 63, this was my first-ever brand new car! Everything went smoo It was a great experience, purchasing my new 2015 Tucson from Coastal Hyundai. At age 63, this was my first-ever brand new car! Everything went smoothly - from the initial greeting to the delivery. Great friendly, knowledgeable folks on the sales floor and the manager's and finance officer's offices. Good selection and clean facility. My only disappointment is that absolutely no one has done any follow-up to see if I am satisfied with my purchase - and it's been a month as of today. It's as if they really don't care about repeat and referral business. And that's something you can't advertise for - no matter how many advertising dollars you spend. I've been out of the auto business for over 8 years, now, but there's something important I learned from those years. Sales staff have way more than sufficient "down" time during the business week to call their sold customers instead of reading the paper or playing solitaire on their computers- initially call 48 hours after their delivery; after two weeks; then after two months; then at least twice per year after that. Ask how they're enjoying their new car. Offer to set up a service appointment. Wish them a happy birthday. Whatever - just keep in touch. Your competition is NOT doing this. Create a "tickle" file on 4X6 cards, or on computer with your customer's pertinent information: name, phone, address, date of birth, wife's name if you got it, kid's names, and etc. After 10 years at my last dealership in Wisconsin, I found that about 40% of my sales were to repeat and referral customers - including customers from previous dealerships I had sold.
