Overall Im happy with the dealership for my remote purchase shipped to Texas. The good: The price was great. Even after paying 1900$ shipping I still saved 3500$ over buying in Houston. In fact I was happy with the price saving 3k and they figured out the taxes and such made it cheaper. My local dealerships would have figured out a way to hide those numbers but Kia of Everett Passed those savings to me. The not great but ok part: Because I was a remote purchaser they put me on the back burner for over a week. This caused my already approved financing to fall thru cause kia has some limit on days between approval and funding. So paperwork that was already overnighted back and forth was voided. They reran my credit and we went thru the process all over again. The part that really knocked off the star... They shipped the car with no temporary tags. I called them and said so your plan is for me to illegally drive this car across town to get it in inspected. The manager said well yes, no cop should be that ridiculous to give you a ticket. I was beyond frustrated but I did it and then went to my DMV and got a 30$ temp tag. I have remotely bought from Florida and Michigan, both put their states 30 day temp tags on the vehicles. Why Washington cant do that is beyond me. People with different states tags drive thru other states every day. ---- Overall Im happy with the purchase.
